Meet Lily

A London native and Parsons School of Design graduate, Lily turned pandemic uncertainty into a creative opportunity by founding LilyEve. It began with repurposing her parents’ vintage Hermès towels into face masks to raise funds for FoodBank NYC. As demand grew, a chance introduction via a local fishmonger, led her to Michel, sparking a dynamic partnership rooted in craftsmanship and care.

Together, they launched the brand with their first breakout piece: the Terry Jacket, now known as the Terry Towel Series. From there, LilyEve evolved into a full collection of one-of-a-kind pieces made from up-cycled designer towels, blankets, silks, and more. Every inch of fabric is thoughtfully repurposed and crafted to last a lifetime. Luxury with a conscience.

Meet Michel

Born in Quebec, Michel’s love of fashion began in his mother’s fabric store. His career took him from Paris—working under the legendary Jacques Fath to New York, designing Broadway costumes for shows like Funny Girl, and eventually to East Hampton, where he ran his own womenswear boutique for 32 years.

During the pandemic, a chance introduction through a local fishmonger connected him with Lily, who needed help producing face masks. At 92, Michel continues to bring his timeless passion and decades of expertise to LilyEve—proof that true artistry never ages.
